Great info! I’ve started working on DPT and building up the time. I’m finding using a soft chew toy is helping me guide Elliott across my body while I am laying down. Then building up patting while he gently chews on a toy (something of high value to him)
This article has been really great to re-read. Mooch does lean and lie on my feet, when in public. However, Bruno used to put his paws/weight on my lap, albeit as a way of helping with my disassociation. I am going to look at the alternatives and hopefully add to Mooch’s skill set. Thanks
